The village is located at Senaru near to Rinjani base camp. Senaru traditional village is led by a chief called Maloka. There are 20 houses at the village, representing the same number of family, covering only 79 residents. All of the villagers are Moslem. Senaru traditional house, traditional house Karang Bajo, and Bayan ancient mosque can be found in the village. Most of the villagers use mixed cotton plant and castor bean as a light in the dark.
